Health and Safety

Several staff members are trained in first aid. You will be notified if the teacher feels that your child needs medical attention. Check at the office to contact a staff member with First Aid qualifications.

Recycling

As a school community, we are concerned about our environment. We compost food waste and recycle all paper fibre, cans, glass, juice cartons, and milk cartons. Each type of recycling is bagged separately and placed in the recycling dumpster, which is collected weekly. Because we strongly support litterless lunches, we encourage children to use returnable containers as much as possible. Please put your child's name on lunch food containers so that they can be brought home.

Lost and Found

Please label your children's clothing and lunch boxes, and check the Lost and Found (below the bulletin board outside the gym) regularly. Classes view these items once a month as a group. One class takes care of laundering unclaimed articles and distributing them to our school partners.
