Churchill Alternative School Council

CASC, of which all parents and staff are voting members, is the body where ideas and concerns regarding the school can be raised. Matters to be discussed include those relating to programs, curriculum, facilities, extra-curricular activities, OCDSB policies, social activities, rules and regulations, fundraising, and sports. Members can raise any other topics, excluding salary or personnel matters.

CASC maintains communication between parents and staff, and liaises with OCDSB. The Council meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The meeting date and agenda are published in the school newsletter and posted on the Churchill News site. Everyone is encouraged to attend -- the success of the meetings depends on participation by the members.
